2012 Permaculture Teaching Schedule
PERMACULTURE DESIGN COURSE: The Permaculture Design Course format that we've come to believe serves the needs of the student best is the weekend format. Over a period of several months, knowledge is slowly built up, allowing the foundational material to be thoughtfully considered and practiced over time, as more detailed material is added – much like the natural process of soil-building. This year, we are offering a Fundamentals of Permaculture course at Earthaven, over 3 three-day weekends, with an option of finishing the Practicum for certification in the fall.
SUSTAINABILITY CLASSES: Along with integrating Permaculture philosophy into their thinking, people also need practical bite-sized chunks to get started on the road to sustainability. This year, we're offering several different sized chunks - the 9-day Fundamentals, a couple of 1-day workshops, and several 1/2 day mini-workshops.
